I attended a Meet Up event in Bangkok called "Speed Friending" - another way to meet friends instead of dating.
Attendees has to sign up and pay online but since I found the event a day later, I wasn't able to register. Luckily they had an option to pay at the event. They posted a detail instructions and what to expect from the event and it looks promising. I had bad experiences from the meet up events in Makati where people showed up like zombies - on their phones and not really interested to participate and others were poorly organised.
Do you know that you can buy a lot of food worth 100 baht? In the Philippines, you'll get nowhere with 100 pesos. As I walked on the streets of Sukhumvit, there are drool worthy delicious food.
Since I moved to Tagaytay, I never get a chance to find a good takoyaki. There's a newly opened Japanese stall at Tagaytay Crossing. They also served potatoes with wasabi and ramen. Check them out.
Do you know this place? A landmark that you will never miss when you go to China Town and Phra Nakhon Distrct.
It's 8am and I'm watching people go on with their day.
It's the nearest coffee shop to where I was staying. Finally, I saw a decent coffee other than Starbucks! I also noticed some foreigners. If I am in Makati, a good coffee shop is not hard to find and it will be within 5 to 10 feet away. But in the place where I'm staying, I relied on Grab and BTS.
